Hopes and Dreams

HI everyone, its Faith again, (nice post on being pretty there Zuzie! heheh)

its been a while since i ended my bad relationship well,its been approx 2 months already and i am feeling happier too, i dont even stalk him anymore. but quite recently, my cousin introduced me to her colleague from work and i was, admittedly quite adamant on to approving him on Instagram. but 'coz she convinced me that he is decent guy etc, so we got to know each other from private mssages on Ig, and at the moment, we're texting each other on whatsapp. sigh, the things is, he seemed to be fine in all aspects and im quite fond of him but because of a bad past experience, im scared of letting all of my guards down. so many what ifs in my mind, and at the moment of typing this entry, i may have liked him a little too much, too much for my own good :( i really really hope this is my last, as in hoping to find a life partner in him, and someone that i can trust my heart with. God, please let him be The One. Amin.

Current favourites: Let's get pretty.

1. Tea tree oil: For those nasty zits that decided to pop sometimes. This one works best for me as it doesn't dry out my skin as most pimple gels do. I tried the other Tea Tree line from the Body Shop but they are too strong for my skin. :/

2. Talika lash enhancer: Had to use this after the tragic "stupidly cut 3mm of my 2 lashes" incident last year. And it had to be yg tengah as in yang paling panjang tu.haha. It actually works! *batting eyelashes

3. Clinique eyeliner: The only reason why I use this is because it says "opthalmolgically tested" . But.. the downside is I go through it so fast, partly because I use it everyday and partly because it always break. The sponge tip at the other end is handy to make a smokey eye look. I even use for my brows. Filling the sparse area.

4. MAC mineralize skin finish: I talked about this in my older post. Malas nak repeat. (hihi) Overall its not cakey, it makes ur skin glow but not oily glow. Like a healthy glow.

5. UD Naked : I only use this if ada events like weddings etc.. I love the formula of the eyeshadow. Smooth and excellent colour pay-off.

6. Kate Somerville Purify Clarifying cleanser: Started using this for the past one month because my sister started using the one for acne-prone skin line.I love that one too but it's a bit too drying and I don't have frequent acne issues.  I love how it smells of tea-tree and its definitely stay true to what it says "Purify Clarifying Cleanser" .
p/s: I have combination skin and if u have similar skin issues, this cleanser is highly recommended! *wink ;)

7. Benefit Posie tint: Cheek and lip tint. My new mini favourite. Had to buy it at the checkout sephora counter sebab comel sangat. Think I'm gonna get the full size bila dah habis. I like it better than lipsticks because it looks natural and I just don't like lipstick as much as Faith does. (hihi) Also my cheeks tend to get dry sometimes and putting a powdered blush just enhanced it a lot more. Here's how it looks like:

I know it looks scary shocking pink but trust me it doesn't. 

Till then, I cant wait for Faith's review! She got quite a lot of new things from after our last girly day out the other day. So.. stay tuned!

The long overdue post. 

Its Juuuuuneeee! My fav month of all times because it's my birthday. (hihi). So my best-cousin got engaged and I'm super duper happy for her. (Despite the 10 years relationship drama, ups and downs, they are FINALLY engaged) . Im not good with words unless I'm really emo. Just enjoy the pictures! 8)

Seconds before the "walk of fame" to the altar. haha. This girl got too excited and walked so fast. Even ter-tripped over. Classsic yayah. I had to ask her to walk slooooowly yah! And of course ada suara2 sumbang mokcik cakap "lajunya". Haih mokcik2. I still love u anyway. :*

Half of us cousins, my sister MIA. Have always been "control ayu" infront of the camera. Tetapi.. bila disuruh post free-style.. We took it to the next level.

And my sister came late because she had an appoinment with her designer for Raya. OTT sangat. I know i look more like Yayah then my own sister. :B

The cake decorator/ baker who baked her own hantaran cake. Crazy right. And she's gonna make her own wedding cake too. *bgm superhuman

Congrats bunny. You have always been my bestfriend since the day I was born. (Ugh). Haha hard to admit but that's the truth. I'm so happy for you and I wish u all the best. Thanks for choosing me as ur maid of honour. Haha. Although its a known fact that obviously it's gonna be nobody else but me. Thank u for being there for me all this while and hopefully after u get married we can still get to shop together. wuuuuaaaaaaa.

Lipstick collection by Faith

HI everyone, this is my first post, and as you guys know, im new in blogging so let me introduce myself.

im the guest blogger for zuziefaith and im using the name Faith. and im 24 hehe but i dont look like it, *so they say (well, you be the judge :P)

since im on a lonnngg holiday in which i have no idea for how long, and i have too much time up my sleeves, I've decided to post something that im passionate about (embarrassingly, not medical related hehe) : A review on Lipsticks!

I have been a fan of lipsticks since i was 20 i think? and have been collecting ever since. my weakness is lipsticks, and i have come to the point of actually being guilty of owning too many. But, no one ever said theres a limit to it right ? hehe

1.First up its Inglot Matte Lip Pencil

I would describe this color as a peachy-brickstone ish color? not really good at descriptions, but from the website, it is posted as darker. but this is what I get on my lips. I really love the color, and since it is a matte finish, i think its great for daytime makeup, or for those wanting to get the no makeup makeup look. so thats that, now on to the second lipstick,

2. MAC Freckletone Review

this is Freckletone from mega makeup company, MAC, and it is again, another nude from my collection, and the color is a peachy-pink color which i think is fantastic if you wanna go for a MLBB   (my lips but better) lip color. one thing i like about this one is, it does not wash me out unlike other nude colors. maybe its a warm base and since im yellow? haha but this works for me, especially if im gonna go heavy on the eyes. (heavy means eyeliner PLUS mascara; usually i'd leave out the mascara) 

up next, 

3. Marc Jacobs Lovemarc Lip Gel

and behold, my ULTIMATE ULTIMATE favourite! the Lovemarc Lip gel by Marc Jacobs in Severine. i cant write enough of my love for this thing! 

okay, back to the shade, it is a nice, nude shade, similar to frecklestone by MAC, but i prefer this to mac as it is more on the pink side i think, and it flatters my nude look oh so well! *pengsan* haha

and i could go on and on about the finish too, it glides on so smoothly, as the name suggests, gel-like and stays matte but stil glossy? haha contradictory i know, but it is! you can have a test at the nearest Sephora! 

**and this is about the eyeliner, which i got frm the same brand, sephora gave me a mini heart attack as when i got home, i noticed the label says MARC JACOB and not MARC JACOBS.  missing the 's' so i called them up they were willing for an exchange but hmm was too lazy and i was assured by the SA that they guaranteed the authenticity of the product, and figured, a fine tip Sharpie might do the trick hehe.

again, almost of the same color but the difference in benefit's hydra lipstick is that is has glitter hehe 

but it glides on smoothly and the color is again of some muted brick-red shade but with an added glitter! fine glitter which is fine :) otherwise, nothing special about this one, but it scores on hydration!

okay, in a bid to minimize the amount of money i spend on cosmetics, i ventured out into drugstore lipsticks, well the product isnt at all a lipstick, rather a lipgloss-stain lip product. the shade i acquired is lolita, as frm the tube it appears mauve and slight peach (warm undertone) i like it coz it could pass off as MLBB shade hehe but with a high shine to it. nice for an evening outing or a kenduri hehe for that added bling! and, a MAJOR plus point is that it is not sticky AT ALL ! yeayerss

next up is the lip plumper from Laura Mercier in Rose Flush, this one is actually pretty sentimental to me as the brand and product was the first lip product i bought which when i was 18 hehe but the shade then was Wildberry. i like this one coz it has a nice minty feeling to it when applied, cooling i must say, and about the shade (sigh) again hehe its almost similar to what i have reviewed earlier but with a purple edge to it. but still, it is a decent lip gloss i must say, high on shine and staying power is ok, even after a meal, there would stil be a stain left. and when it is at that stage, it becomes a tad sticky for some reason idk why ?

shocker! hehe a shade that you didnt expect to be on me haha. i got this on impulse as i love a dark lip as that was the trend then, and i thought this shade can be used as a single swipe and blended in jsut to give the lips a  flush of color. and in the picture, i think i swiped it to the max to get the color so yea, the color is buildable and when applied lightly, its just nice :) and i have yet to test it whether it glows or not but i think u need a pretty fair amount for it to be :P

FUYOO MERAH MAK NGAH haha feeling a lil ruby woo aye? well, sadly this product is discontinued in M'sia, i think they dont bring in Rimmel anymore but managed to get this with a fair bit of discount ! i like the color, but has yet to find an occasion to wear it to :) i think it would go well with any skin color as its both warm and cool if u get what i mean hehe. the finish is thin yet glossy but im not too happy with the staying power as it runs when u drink, i mean, it really does! to the extent of turning plain water to pink! so thats why it comes with a balm at the other end of the stick, probably to seal the color.
