Travel diary: Last minute trip and tangled thoughts.

Helloo.. So last week me and friends went to Penang! For the first time..first time for me la sebab pegi trip dengan kawan kawan. Ok..hang on.. I'm not that cool. Actually  Mr. Dad had a conference there. We "tagged" along.

Erk.

So anyway, I decided to bring along Celine ( bukan nama sebenar) and Alia. Celine is from Sabah fyi, and she rarely gets to explore East Malaysia. Sebab kalau harapkan me and Alia nak bawa memang dua-dua pun tak berani la kan drive jauh2. Lol. It was a 3 nights 4 days trip, and because it was a last minute trip and I totally forgot about this "planned' trip, we couldn't book a hotel by the beach for the whole trip.  We had to stay where Dad stayed until the third day sebab "luckily" the city hotel tu fully booked and lucky enough dapat stay by the beach for the last night. Yeay. So of course laa hang by the beach jee once we got there. Tapi dah tan. :?

Day 1 and 2. City girls kinda trip. We went swimming, walked to the mall (jalan  okay, bawak payung), watched movie, karaoke , went back with packed dinner,ice cream, sambung tengok movie kat laptop and sleep. Cool huh. Dua hari pegi mall boleh tak sedar depan Gurney Plaza tu ada beach. Or else dah boleh picnic lunch dah. haha. The new mall kat sebelah tu 'Paragon Mall' best juga ada Sephora, H&M and so on.. 

Day 3 and 4. The view from our room.. 

Night market was fun too. Alia bought portable fan (haha) , Celine bought t-shirt for her family and me (McD for dinner!) yeay. Pastu balik tengok drama Baran kat TV3. Thumbs up for Scha. :)

The next morning naik fun tube.. and memang fun gila... I think we all screamed macam satu hotel terjaga. Ingatkan fun tube "safer" than banana boat. Tapi tak rupanya.. But it was worth rm60 per pax. Orang tu kata dia bagi 2 round. Tak tahu la betul ke tak . If you don't know what a fun tube is, its like a float attached to a speed boat. Float macam kat sunway lagoon tu tapi ada base. The one we rode memang untuk 3 orang. Try it if you ever had a chance. Memang best untuk relieve stress. Hihi.

Funny how things can change in a split second. Who would have thought that "a split second" does really exist in real life. Like that one time. I knew I shouldn't have gone, I knew something was wrong.. But I did anyway. And I lost you. From that moment onwards I try to trust my instincts more than anything else. It's really tricky, because how would u know if your choices are affected by whom or what?

I am one person who can't stand pressure. Who dislikes,and who will fall hard when something hits me. People say it's okay if you fall because there's no way to go but up, but if you fall too hard and your bones are all broken, there's no way you can get up. I'm sorry if there's so much of negativity. It's just.. Im just like you. I have emotions too. I go through ups and downs.

So.. anyway.. it had been crazy,rollercoaster emotion ride for me for the past 3 weeks. 2 weeks study break plus 3 days of exam alternately in a week. Blegh. Of course I didn't study 24-7 . Because I got so much other better things to do. Because my life is not just about that. I'm definitely in denial. hihi.

Anyway..(positive vibes coming). Me being me, during the study week feeling sappysadanddepressed , which, now that it's all over I don't know why I felt that way..went little trips to the mall. I can never be like so pumped up and like " Dang it, aiming for distinction!" Its just tooo much pressure for me. And just getting what I've achieved is good enough. So, for anyone out there who sees me as a "threat" , count me out. It's all yours. haha.

Things I'll remember for life..because I really really really really miss you.

Relationships:
I remember how u wanted me to be a dentist so bad,to the point that you said " if you don't want to be a dentist,marry one". Of course I chose to be one instead. When I was in a difficult situation, I asked you indirectly about relationships and you said to be with the one who loves you more than you love him.

Religion:
Of course, jangan tinggal sembahyang. You never failed to wake me up every morning for Subuh prayers. Sampai ada one time tu, the elastic thing on my pants lose its elasticity because you really wanted me to get up and pray. :')

Cooking/baking:
You said that our emotions and feelings will affect the things we are making. So today I tried to be happy, and hoped that they'll turn out good.

Shopping:
Dont go shopping on an empty stomach. Sebab nanti semua nak beli. Hehe. I miss going shopping with you. Just me and you. And lunch too.:(

Songs:
When I see you smile, Stand up for cancer. I wanted to cry so bad when you cried listening to those. But I couldn't, I had to be strong for you.

Movies/drama:
Ombak rindu, we watched this together on ur tab at the hospital. And you cried, and I used to not get it , why would anyone cry to a sad movie, it's just a movie,they're actors! But believe me ma, now I am the one crying to a sad movie. I get it now.
All those saturday night dramas we watched together on tv#. Cerita bongak you called them. But some of them were good. Ahh and those indo-drama that we used to watch every evening. You actually looked forward to every single episode of it. But now I cant watch those anymore. Its just not as good as it was.....

I just want to say I'm sorry, it may seemed that I was heartless, but believe me ma, I had to be strong for you. I wanted to be strong for you. You know I love you, I know you do.

Girly Talk ( Go away guys.. I mean it)

Shout out to The Hulk. This one is for you.. "Awh" cepat.I swear my "The Hulk" is a girl. hehe.
Here's how the story goes.. After around 2pm Friday,I decided that im soo going where else but shopping on Saturday..which is today. Being a responsible shopaholic, I actually googled the review of the things that I wanted to buy.. decided to spend so and so..for raya of course. yeay. Lepas sahur pagi tadi terus semangat..I'm going to Mac today..weehee.. to get a new laptop..err..make-up. :D Throughout this post, malas nak tulis MAC sebab macam so-huh-amekkau so I'm writing it as Mac.. Sorry MAC.. :(

Excuse my table please, it doubles as a lab/workplace for my dentures. *coughs* . So... tada...! I always wanted to try the Mac mineralize skin finish natural. It gives a realy nice subtle healthy glow, and as the name goes, it does realy look natural. Not for people who prefers a high coverage powder.

My old and new babies. I would say, it's quite comparable to the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, which Ive been using for a year. Surprise surprise.. you may caught me powder my nose every now and then, but I go through compact powder verry sloooowly. But at least I hit pan on this one, first time kot dalam sejarah hidup. Selalu mesti pakai then,tak suka.. Especially the compact powders with SPF, it makes my skin soo oily. So.. don't forget to moisturize, wear something like a base  with SPF, then finish it with a powder. I usually keep foundation and those of high coverage stuff for special occasion only,to let the skin breathe.. :) Whatever la izzah. Why not tak payah pakai pape lansung you ask? Cos people will start asking me " Are you okay..?" Moving on..

I used to hate lipstick and lipglosses so much that it was not even in my dictionary. Tapi lately ni..sejak ada org bagi lipstick..macam fun pula. I don't wear vibrant colours though, always have been a fan of "no make-up" look. Hence, the dull, my kind of colours. Nampak yummy kan the colours, tak sticky or icky, and smells vanilla-ish . My sister said it looks like I have a candy store in my room..weee..

Tips: To find out what kind of colours suit you best, try buying a more affordable lipstick, and see what kind of colour or 'finish' suits/ you like best. So tak ada la frust bila dah beli mahal2 then tak suka.. Don't be shy to try it on.. What I did was I tried the Revlon Lip Butter..They are pretty sheer..but I like it because it's buttery smooth,smells nice,yummy names,have an array of colours to choose from AND they have pretty good reviews.hehe. Come to think of it, they are quite expensive, but hey, you want the best for your body kan.. Ignore this if you dont agree. No offense, no hard feelings. Hehe.

Angel- Kim K's favourite lipstick from Mac.I loveee it..it's a frost finish,natural and definitely an everyday colour.
Lovelorn- now..my cousin got this for my birthday.Love at first sight, lepas tu terus excited nak try other colours. Its a lustre,fun,pink colour.. It looks good if I wear proper make-up, i.e, for me the eyeshadow, blusher bla bla bla..on it's own, Too cantik and precious for my everyday life.. Thanks yah.. <3
Ravishing- A creamsheen finish. A fun coral orangy colour that suits my skin tone. Not too out there,a trendy colour sebab trend coral lips sekarang. Hehe.

23 facts about me.. (random+ugly truth)

1. My real name is obviously not 'zuzie faith'. ' Zuzie' was created when my cousins and I, back then, long time ago.. wanted to call ourselves the 'ILMYNZ' ..blah blah blah..long story.. maybe one of these days I'll write something about that.
2. I hate frogs. Not hate like hello, ciptaan Tuhan kot. Geli je dengan katak. Oh and cicak.
3. I shop like its my job. I changed my style every now and then. I recently found my love for make-up. I don't wear them on a daily basis though.
4. I miss my mum a LOT. So don't ask me stupid questions. Pretty please?
5. I fell in love with Australia before I even actually went there.
6. I feel awkward talking to my friend's mummies. I don't know why.
7. I have those moments when I'm angry or sad, I just dont feel like talking to ANYONE.
8. I sing all the time. hmm hmm hmmm.. I wish I have t-swiffie's voice.
9. I'm quiet and if I dont have anything to talk to, I'll just stay mute. So yeah, it gets awkward sometimes but hey, tak cakap banyak tak banyak dosa kan. uh-huh?

11. I can be pretty cold.
12. I am too nice sometimes, nice enough to be stupid.

14. I once liked Maths so much I actually considered taking Math as my major. Then I went through matriculation and yeah, I hate it.
